Doctors Speak

doctor rothstein

Professor Zev Rothstein

Director of the Sheba Medical center at Tel Hashomer:

Rachashei Lev is synonymous with unlimited giving from the heart.

Beit Hayeled is a wonderful place that gives the families a sense of peace and calm as their child endures difficult treatment at the hospital.

doctor_porat

Professor Gidi Porat

Director of Safra Children’s Hospital at Sheba Medical Center and Director of the Pediatric ICU:

…an amazing organization that works on behalf of the community with devotion and dedication, serving as an example of what people can do to improve treatment for children. The staff’s spirit of generosity serves as a role model.

doctor_skornick

Professor Yehudah Skornick

Member of the Rachashei Lev Presidium, President of Magen David Adom (Israel’s national aid society), Director, Department of Surgery A at Icholov Hospital in Tel Aviv:

What can be done is to alleviate their burden a little bit and help them endure the period of struggle against the disease more easily.

The Rachashei Lev organization was established to serve this purpose. They do this important mitzvah on a volunteer basis, extending a supportive and loving hand to all the children who need them and helping in every possible way.

They make the children’s difficult journey to recovery easier, brighter and shorter.

doctor_nuemann

Dr. Yoram Neumann

Director of the Pediatric Hemato-Oncology Institute at Safra Children’s Hospital at Sheba Medical Center:

First of all, the girls who volunteer for Rachashei Lev are a great group who do wonderful work here. In general, everything Reuven gives us, be it in the framework of Beit Hayeled or in other areas – is an extraordinary contribution to families going through treatment and also to the doctors and nurses.

doctor_rechavi

Professor Gidi Rechavi

Director of Cancer Research at Tel Hashomer:

The contribution of Rachashei Lev on behalf of the sick children and their families is wonderful. Beit Hayeled is an extraordinarily commendable place.

doctor_toran

Professor Amos Toran

Director of the Pediatric Hemato-Oncology Department:

Rachashei Lev is the most important out-of-hospital organization in the life of our department. We have been working alongside Rachashei Lev for many years. The assistance provided by Reuven, the National Service girls and all the people at Rachashei Lev to improve the quality of life of the sick children, their families, and the medical staff is so significant that I cannot imagine our department’s activities without it.

The establishment of Beit Hayeled has dramatically altered our ability to treat many families whom we could not have treated without it.

The psychosocial campus, the entrance area and fantastic laughing room are just a few physical examples of the many years of cooperation between Rachashei Lev and our department and of the mutual heart beating in the chest of Rachashei Lev and the Pediatric Hemato-Oncology Department.
